BUILD YOUR BUSINESS OVER COFFEE.

Every Wednesday morning, founders and future founders meet to talk shop, trade ideas, and help each other figure it out. No agenda. No pitch decks. Just coffee and real conversation.

Wednesdays | 6:30–7:45 AM | Location TBD

If you're building something — or thinking about it — you're welcome at the table.

Who This Is For

You're testing a business idea but don't know if it'll work in Lawton.

You've got a side hustle that could be more. You're a veteran thinking about what's next. You're a military spouse who needs flexible income. You're tired of working for someone else. You've been told "that won't work here" — but you're not sure if that's true.

You're already running a business and hitting walls.

You need customers who aren't just friends and family. You're figuring out pricing, marketing, or how to hire your first employee. You wonder if other founders deal with the same problems. You could use a reality check from someone who's been there.

You help businesses succeed—and want to give back.

You're an accountant, lawyer, marketing consultant, or real estate pro who believes in this community. You've seen good ideas fail for lack of support. You want to connect with emerging founders before they make expensive mistakes.

You're ready to invest time, energy, or capital locally.

You've built something here and want to see others do the same. You know Lawton has potential that most people overlook. You're looking for ways to strengthen the local economy that go beyond writing checks.

If any of this sounds like you — pull up a chair.

What This Is

Lawton Venture Lift is a weekly morning coffee meetup for people building businesses in Comanche County.

Every Wednesday at 6:30 AM, we meet at [Location]. Some weeks it's five people. Some weeks it's fifteen. The conversation covers whatever's real that week — finding your first customer, figuring out pricing, navigating a bad partnership, celebrating a win nobody else understands.

There's no agenda, no membership, no presentations. Just founders, future founders, and the people who support them — talking honestly about what it takes to build something here.

We show up every week because consistency builds trust. The person who helps you land your first client might be someone you met over a $3 coffee on a random Wednesday.

Why Lawton Venture Lift Exists

Most business advice wasn't written for Lawton.

The podcasts assume you're in Austin or Silicon Valley. They talk about raising venture capital and disrupting industries. That's fine—but it's not what most of us need. We need to know: Will this work here? How do I find my first 10 customers in a town of 90,000? How do I balance this with my day job, my deployment schedule, my kids' activities?

Building a business is lonely—especially in a military town.

You move here for an assignment. Your spouse deploys. Your network resets every few years. The person who gets what you're trying to do might be the only one in your circle—and you haven't met them yet. Venture Lift exists so you don't have to figure it out alone.

Lawton has more potential than people realize.

We've got Fort Sill—a steady economic engine and a constant flow of talented people. We've got lower costs than the coasts and less competition than OKC. We've got founders who are scrappy, resourceful, and underestimated. The businesses that succeed here are built for here—by people who understand this community and choose to invest in it.

Why Now

You don't need permission to start. You don't need a business plan, a logo, or funding. You need one thing: people around you who take this seriously.

That's what Wednesday mornings are for.

The idea you've been sitting on? The skill you've been undervaluing? The business that's stuck because you're doing it all yourself?

Bring it to the table. We'll help you figure out the next step.
